Quality and innovation are central to SISCOG’s products and systems. They are driven by dedicated teams, adherence to industry standards, continuous monitoring of global trends, and close collaboration with clients.

Since its inception, SISCOG has invested in research and development (R&D). This commitment led, in 2003, to the creation of a dedicated team of highly skilled researchers focused on developing and refining algorithms and optimisation models for resource scheduling in transport operators. This work is carried out internally and in collaboration with research centers, universities, and clients.

SISCOG’s commitment is consistently recognised through published papers and industry awards, and long-term client partnerships.

Environmental responsibility is key to sustainability and social impact

The SISCOG Suite, as a set of products that optimise the operations of transportation companies, contributes for the sustainable use of resources by our clients, namely by enabling an efficient use of rolling stock, hence directly reducing energy consumption.

Internally, SISCOG promotes responsible practices such as water and energy conservation, waste separation and reuse, and minimising travel through high-quality remote communication tools. These efforts reflect the company’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.

Conciliation between Professional, Family and Personal life

Balance between the three dimensions increases well-being and satisfaction

SISCOG recognises that a healthy balance between professional, family, and personal life is essential for employee well-being, quality of life, satisfaction, and personal and professional development. For the organisation, this balance fosters greater engagement, productivity, and alignment with strategic goals.

In 2019, SISCOG joined the Portuguese Government’s pioneering Pact for Conciliation, the first initiative to engage a group of companies and public bodies in implementing practices that support work-life balance.

Each year, SISCOG defines a dedicated plan, outlining objectives, actions, responsibilities, and deadlines. This plan reflects stakeholder input and aligns with the company’s strategy, covering areas such as training, employee satisfaction and well-being, and organisational attractiveness.
