Goals, activities and expected results: SCOUT project’s main goal is to achieve SISCOG's strategic objective of market diversification leading to the reinforcement of its presence in international markets. The action plan is based on two areas:
- increase of the market share
- creation of a new product
Further to monitoring the publication of international tenders, the SCOUT project aims to promote a strong component of proactive actions by identifying potential clients and approaching them individually with customized product demonstrations.

Goals, activities and expected results: World population growth and increasing migration to large cities sets great pressure on transport networks. Mobility in urban areas is an important facilitator for growth, employment and sustainable development. And at this level, it is not only quantity but also the quality of transport that matters.
Efficient transportation can attract economic activities to cities and increase productivity, improving connectivity and reducing travel time. For more than 30 years SISCOG has been helping increase the productivity of transportation companies with state-of-the-art optimization software that combines Artificial Intelligence and Operations Research techniques, incorporating experience, innovation and mobility trends.
The IDEAL project aims to:
- improve the existing products
- reduce the cost and time of customization of project implementation
- develop optimizers by incorporating "machine learning" techniques
- create a new rail scheduling product which will be integrated with existing products

Goals, activities and expected results: In order to achieve the 2018-2021 strategic goals, namely market share increase, activity growth and company added value reinforcement, with this BALANCE project SISCOG intends to accomplish two relevant objectives from its strategic plan for this period, specifically:
1. Development of programs for attracting and retaining staff, and
2. Increase annual productivity.
In an increasingly competitive technological context full of opportunities, SISCOG has been witnessing the impact of these factors on its human resources, namely in attracting and retaining qualified technical staff, having already become aware that the lack of clarity in the path each employee can take in the company is a key aspect in people's commitment and motivation.
With this project, that will create a career management model, and implement and certify the NP 4552: 2016 standard (management system for reconciling professional, family and personal life), we aim to:
- outline clear and realistic career paths
- communicate the value proposition of these paths with clarity and transparency throughout the Organization
- improve the conditions offered to employees in the context of reconciling the various spheres of their lives, promoting a better work-life balance that will have an impact on a greater degree of motivation, performance and productivity, thus leveraging the company's competitiveness

Goals, activities and expected results: SISCOG has been dedicated to the development of systems for the optimized planning and management of resources for the passenger transport sector at an international level. Currently, in addition to Portugal, it has clients in 7 countries, in 2 continents. Almost 100% of the turnover comes from software exports totally "made in Portugal".
The objectives of this project are:
- strengthen international turnover,
- by attracting new clients and
- diversifying current markets, and
- launching a new area related to Data Science and Machine Learning.

Goals, activities and expected results:
AI4RealAg is a research project, developed by the consortium composed of SISCOG, INIAV and BEYOND VISION, that aims to increase agricultural production and quality, ensuring a positive impact on agricultural and environmental sustainability.
The project aims to:
- Develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science models that, through the analysis of large volumes of data, enable to uncover hidden knowledge from data, such as patterns, trends and correlations, which support smarter decision-making, as well as preparation of forecasts;
- Develop a combined remote multispectral, thermal, 4K 360º and LiDAR sensing, through the exploration of increasingly larger drone payloads, in order to increase the quality of the data that feed AI and Data Science models, consequently, improving the quality of results produced by them.
The project addresses six topics:
- Characterization of the phenological states of cultures;
- Determination of cultural coefficients;
- Estimation of the intensity of water stress;
- Diagnosis of nutritional status;
- Health diagnosis for early detection of diseases; and
- Development of an advanced phenotyping platform.
It will be tested and validated in three agricultural sectors:
- Vineyard
- Olive groves
- Fruit trees orchards
